Hi Christian

If you can let me know what state shes in , I may be interested in trying to save her , although I think the price asked was a bit steep for a historic vessel in need of loads of work . If the other option is to scrap her , would he rather just let her go

Cheers

Dave

Sorry Dave,

I'm not in touch with anyone with that information, personally I couldn't agree more- certainly worth a try.

Good luck!

Christian.

Hi Christian,

RE the St in Bristol.   Is that an RDF ariel in the top photo?  If tes, would that possibly make her an ASR boat?

If you have a better photo of her, I'd love to see it.

Regards

Don

Hi Dave,

FYI,   I spoke to Kev today about the ST. Said 2-3 people were coming to see her this weekend.  One is a friend of owner of 'Gay Archer' and, if he gets her,  plans to take her down there, restore her and show her beside Gay Archer.

Of course he may not buy it but I thought you'd want to know.

Cheers

Don

Re ST445/Swift

A local group have bought her to restore to service condition I've been told. Excellent news.

I've been told that a few Seaplane Tenders were involved with the Canadian raid on Dieppe.  Does anyone know which craft were involved?

Thanks
Don
