Hi, New in this Forum.

I buy 1 year ago a BPB 24"6' Sea-king from 1934 and search more informations on the "Fast Runabout" production prior to restore my boat.

I've buy Books,
- "Fast Boats and Flying Boats" give a good basis on the yard history.
- "From River to Sea" is fantastic about the before 1927 (The Puma Class).
also love to read user experience like Mildred Bruce 24H record.

I search on the Web, find some other owners but without many documentations.

Ask to UK museum, find good pictures like the Poole Museum on 1930 races

Have also good media from the Royal Museums Greenwich (still wait Drawings copy).

Have found the best items on Ebay like original Album from 1934 and Postcards.

So, search anybody how have HD pictures on this "Fast Runabouts" or Albums..

Thanks !

You've done well with your research, there is very little information.

Any progress with the boat?

Hi Ben !

Progress on the parts and hardware, not on the boat.
I want to have a global view of the project before to do a wrong job...

UPDATE ! - Just receive 1934 Drawings ! very detailed.

Regards, Vincent.

Dear sir,

saw your posts regarding runabouts from Scott-Paine. It was very interesting to see due to that I'm just int the beginning of bringing a Sea -Arrow back to life after some years onshore. And we're just about to discuss the interior and really wonder if you have a clue of how it will be to be just as it was when it left the factory? All info regarding these fabulous boats are very well welcome. If yo give me your mail-address I'll send some pics and info regarding my boat.

All best
