Hi Max,
I'm not sure from your post if you're thinking of coming over in June for the 2017 commemorations? There's every chance that MGB 81 will be in France then - probably at Pegasus Bridge if she does go. In terms of other boats you could look at, this survivors map may be useful. You'll notice that most of them are houseboats, so they're not really recognisable as Coastal Forces boats. The ones under restoration are in various states, depending on progress. The main restored vessels are MGB 81, MTB 102, HDML 1387 and RAF High Speed Launch 102 (not on the map as it's not Coastal Forces). There's also MTB 71, although she's currently in storage awaiting transfer to a new Coastal Forces exhibit, work on which is due to start in the summer (probably) Hope this helps, Steve
