Dear Mr Medri,
I am a very good personal friend of the BC's and know of their project and intentions for RML 526. Your comments you have made are defamatory and I consider your attitude and tone to be that of a hate mail. The charity HAS NOT been struck off and your comment about "the company set up to oversee her restoration has been dissolved" is utter nonsense and again defamatory. You mentioned that you looked at their FB page, you obviously did not bother to read about the BC's plans once restoration was finished which is that they will operate her as a charter business and all profits (after tax of course) will be donated to RNRMC and Help 4 Heroes to help support our wounded, injured and sick service personnel - This I think is highly commendable and so did the First Sea Lord (now retired) which is clearly why he supported such a project. May I suggest you read the rules and terms of conditions that this forum operates - [This post has been edited by Moderator 'Pioneer'] Edited by Pioneer - 15 October 2017 at 7:49pm |

Hi there,
Further, and sorry if teaching to suck the proverbial, but the harbour owners...if they are defunct, owners of 526, there could be berthing fees stacking up, they may have owners contact details and for the fees being cleared, new responsible owner, and hopefully she could stay if needs be.... Hi Tony,
Great to hear from you, and great that you are back to good health there, yes sorry to hear this, I had a thought about her the other day and asked about her.....can not remember what promoted it now...right, that is a pity, visited some years ago in the rain, no one about, there is the "other" sorry numbers gone, at Portsmouth, not heard of late what is happening to her, think part of new coastal forces? display/museum...hm, well, apart from words...if dissolved, who to contact? and will they be sensible and let her go...sorry, many words and not much else I know....such a pity, said and he came up, ex Ist sea lord Admiral Zambellis was invited along, pictures taken, plans to go to Portsmouth but clearly....perhaps, he may still be interested in helping but..PM me if you wish, all the best, Johnk |
