Hello Chris

First  - "Welcome aboard"

I keep in touch with Ken Forrester on a regular basis but as he is not 'on line' the 'snail mail' takes a little time to get replies. I do speak to him on the telephone occasionally - and the next time I shall ask permission to divulge his address to you.

Regards

The rescue of survivors from the SS Empire Patrol. Ken Forrester can just be made out as being dressed in White on the Whaler under the Stern.

Later HMS Trouncer makes a close approach to the Stern as the fire takes hold on the Empire Patrol and the rescue becomes more desperate.

Many saved from the Sea.

Here is a fairly recent shot of Ken Forrester.

Plus a trusty old dog.

Hello 'Johnk',
I spoke with Ken just last weekend - he sounded fine having recently returned from a break in Cumbria. Full of life and through his Nth Yorks accent, showing that he still has a great sense of humour - a real pleasure to talk to.
