Hi there,

Very sad to learn re Gay Archer there, glad though that she is able to continue home, slipping at Bristol, would that be the Underfall yard perhaps?, very near of course Albion dockyard and the Medway Queen, so in sad circumstances but chance to see her perhaps. Of course these unseen obstructions have stuck  before, with MTB 102 at Sandwhich a while back, again thanks to the efforts of the company and local fire brigade, she recovered.  Well, wishing best to GA then, was like others for sure hoping to see her at Southampton show along with Medusa, sadly weekend latter there am working!

Hi there,

Answer to my own question! yes, 32 is still on sale, thought 27 did not look the same ie bridge missing! still of course see distinctive hull shape....be good to see her up and running due course.

The curse of the 2 stroke diesel strikes again!!! One of the engines has spun a main bearing so it's back to the drawing board.

Hi there,

Yes...sorry to "point" out the curse of the typo!!! happens to me all the time....nothing to do with not being able to spell myself!!! but yes, be great to hear how things going, aware couple of years ago now? time flying..had to abandon Torquay berth, very sad, but do see that great work to MASB 27 by the D-day revisited group, see Facebook pictures, see work by the Childs team to the hull planking in some of the photos, thanks to them of course it is now with this new group, still have MTB 219 at Watchet? vessel of course in the famous Channel Dash....but of course, as a private team, things far from easy, but great work on Gay Archer and saving the other vessels as per, best to you and all,

Johnk
