Very sad news received today.
Ldg Seaman Ken Forrester MID crossed the bar peacefully this morning. Aged 97, married to his Harriet for 71 years, he will be sadly missed by all his family and many many friends. It is not to overstate his contributions but he was one of this country's true hero's. Details of the Funeral arrangements will follow.
