Cheers John, Glad you like it, there should be a bit more to come from Peter (thankyou Peter). I am still on the lookout for relevant info to put on there. If anyone has more info or has spotted mistakes in what I have put up please let me know. |

Hi John,
Yes things are a bit quiet, I have been concentrating on other things and the cash situation is not as it was! , I have put '32 on the back burner for a while although the plan is still to get her hull done.
Here is some of what has been distracting me, they are both on another forum..
obviously there is plenty of 'thread drift' on forums so please bear with it
![]() this is a former hire cruiser built by my Dad which I wanted an example of I found this one and have been getting her restored at the boatyard.
this next project is an exciting one, at the moment it is at the plug stage of the hull of a river cruiser, we last built a hull in the late 70s, this is a massive investment and we are lucky to have these skills to hand as it is a specialised craft.
I have thought about selling her if there was someone else willing to take her on but have decided to wait until I get the time and free resources to deal with her, however if someone wanted her then they can always find me.

"S" is probably down to the fact that these boats (as MASB's) were fitted with an early form of ASDIC (type 134)(Sonar)

The Pom - Hello from the UK - We hope to become the "Trustee's" of S32 - and to restore her to what she was in 1943 Do know of any of her history from 1945 and until you "took her on" and do you have knowlege of dates for "change of occupation" when she was with you and Gordon Bland Stay safe and well Peter Horscroft (horscroftpeter9@gmail.com) |

MASB S32 PLEASE, can you remember, Pathfinder as to how many props / shafts there were when you last saw her we are 90% certainly going to take her and put her back to what she was : an "Angel of the Seas" Her Owner is going to pump her out and slip her so we can a proper look at timbers etc (she is sunk to the bottom of her Dock - about 6in freeboard at her stern) She needs repairs to her stern so that she can be towed to where ever we decide BUT I need to know whether the third shaft is there and whether it has the V-Drive still attached Since when Hector / Christian had it in Gib - he only reported the two "wings" with "Ford / Sabre" - and I can't reach him to check on the rest Peter Horscroft (would be Trustee of "Restore MASB S32 as HSL : Angel of the Seas") (eMail : horscroftpeter9@gmail.com : phone 01621 776936 : text only 07947 964718) |
