I just googled this thread after some friends and I came across the MBT while canoeing up the canal. Took some photos, sadly not in a good way, but has a great aura.

Hi there,

Many thanks for this, yes as per thread she was landed a while ago but not? broken up still....sad as you say, wrote before, meeting with chap at boathouse 4 in Portsmouth, loss of the Polish MTB at Hoo, near Rochester, Kent...portholes removed with chainsaw, then with some pumps running, shoved onto the shore and abandoned...very sad...any way, thanks again,
