Hi there,

Looking via the link posted by Pioneer to the CFV site and the Ostend disaster on this day, I saw on there forum latest post on RML 526 berthed at Rye, great plans to move to Portsmouth for restoration and operation in support of forces charities, great idea, joining our growing number of vessels, with MTB 219 hull launch, HSL 2552 and restored of course MTB 102, HDML Medusa.....others of course we know so will not list here, what a great thing to see and know, with today's event, clearly first the men to remember, thence these vessels to aid that remembrance if I may say.

Hi there,

Just seen latest posts on What's New section, great newsletter from the PNBPT, great to see the trainees at the boathouse starting their courses, and the work of the volunteers on the historic craft, nice to see Nuthatch underway, been to Ramsgate for the Dunkirk commemorations and across to Dunkirk as well, of course paddle steamer Medway Queen attended under tow, at Ramsgate to great success.

Hi there,

On What's New great shots of visit to MTB 1819, great that some brackets are to be donated to MGB 81, as 1819 lives on as a houseboat, a well worn path of course, as MGB 81 was and most, but not all HDML Medusa for example have been....all the best,

Hello there,

Not sure if members have heard/seen but latest Facebook post from boat house number 4 has news and link that MGB81 has been taken ashore at the Berthon marina/yard at Lymington for extensive replacement of frames and stringers and a pair of new engines, up grade from existing units, lighter and more efficient plus more....great news, trust will both secure her hull for the future and make her more usable and economic to run...sure the intention, do not have links which would be a good thing, perhaps clever minds than mine may sort! but all good, best to all,
