So he sweated, grafted and learned a lot
Gave to the ship all that he’d got.
He enjoyed the life that he had made,

No envy now for those with braid.

From a Poem by “Jock” Roy Paul (1936 – 2007)

Pioneer,

A relevant poem on more than one count,

as I said before the gremlins attacked, I have learned a lot, in particular to prepare well before going to sea. Also no envy as I have the choice not to go out if the weather is not too good!

masbie something in the water.   www.freewebs.com/masb32/
