   Today is the anniversary of the Bari disaster. 
At 1700hrs on this day, the German Air Force struck a major blow to the Allies. 
Over 1000 souls lost their lives and many veterans are still carrying scars of "Chemical Burns" to this day. Probably technically correct - but it is now well known that Mustard Gas was the main culprit.
