   In several books that I have read on the subject of Exercise Tiger, there has been mention of a squadron of MGB's or MTB's off Cherbourg on the night of 27/28 April 1944. MGB 324 has been stated as being ordered to "Stand Clear" when the fateful attack took place against Convoy T45. Was that boat part of the Squadron off Cherbourg?
