Hello, has anyone any further information about the Seaplane Tender on the for sale page of the BMPT website? The one in Blackpool.

I am wondering if she is ashore or still in the water? How much work she needs to float and if she still has working engines etc. Oh yea and if she is still available? I know I could ask the owners, but id rather not disturb them if its not suitable for me. I’m looking for a second vessel to moor at Irving to use as accommodation and tool store while I’m working on pinnace 1262. But id rather not spend 1k on a boat then have to spend another few k getting her to where I need her. When really I should be spending my cash on the pinnace.

 Any info is appreciated.

Hi N.E.User,

There was a really interesting boat in West Scotland (Loch Lomond) that may have been abandoned and had motors and shafts etc.

She is in Loch Lomond Marina in Balloch,Dumbartonshire, and was 48' (I think) and had a Seaplane tender type hull.

See Page 1 & 2 of General Message Board on Where Boats Are for photos and details.

Hope it helps. She was a fine looking boat and worth saving herself.

Cheers

Don

Hi, I am the owner of Che Sarah, in Blackpool. Instead of spending all day e-mailing people please please ring me. You are not disturbing me. I would love to speak to anyone regarding these vessells as we are very interested in the history of these vessells.

I put Che Sarah on the bmpt the in the hope that we could find the correct owner for her.

It now breaks my heart to say that I am leaving for Hong Kong shortly knowing that now that Che Sarah is doomed and must be burned. if there is anyone out there she only needs a very small repair to re-float her. When she was lifted out of the water she was safely afloat and dry inside. The price I am asking for her seems very cheap, as I have seen worse.

Hi Dorothy,

I've rang Norman today and I'm talking to him to see what can be done.
I'm trying to see where I could store her and the cost of moving her.

I'm sure we can sort out something.  I'd hate to see her burned.

Kind Regards
Don
