Thanks for the reply John. It was only after reading it that I realised that I had pressed the wrong key and sent the message, I had substituted a 4 for a 5! The boat I am interested in is 505/1505/Proud Fusilier not 504. It was sold through Sotherbys Boat brokers if that helps? In 2005/6 it featured on the forum and one of the members was quite certain that Quiberon/Blue Hull was 505. Just wondered how he reached that conclusion? I suppose it is great to track the history of all this WW2 kit, but at the end of the day as long as it survives and is there for the future a few myths and legends can only enhance the mystery! Best of Luck to you all geoff.

Myths and legends belong in the bin!
Only the facts are valid.

I think our organisation is the only one that looks forward. 48 knots on MTB102 was a reality. I don't need to prove it. It is a fact.

Hi Geoff and Richard,
Yes, Quiberon I knew, was aboard a couple of times with the then owners, couple of guys who emmigrated now, not sure of her condition, heard not to good apparently. Back from Dunkirk Richard, hope not to lumpy a trip, sorry I could not get ashore this time, still 2015 to come.
