Greetings all, this is my first post so there will be a little trial and error I expect. Being a keen modeller I chose this site to start. I started work as an electical apprentice with Vosper at Portchester in 1947 to 52.went to sea for five years Back to Vospers from 1957 until 1960. To sea for six years and back to Vospers for one year. The first craft I worked on was MTB 538 subsequently 1601. During the time I was there I saw many of the craft mentioned in Topics in the Forum. From Vospers I went with one of the Perkasa Class called the Pahlawan to Brunei to train local personnel in running the boat. On returning to the U.K. I built a R.C. model of the boat which is still running here in Exeter |
