Modelling 'down under'

For the very kind words and for posting pics of my initial 'tinkerings' into the world of card modelling. I need to clarify a couple of things, firstly I have not actually finished ANY models as yet. The first two I will be completing, both in 1/144th scale will be the RN HDML 1285 as shown in the first pic, followed by the RAN's ML 825 possibly accompanied by a low flying RAAF Wirraway aircraft. The other thing needing clarification is yes I do intend to model ALL those gallant 'little ships' from Op Chariot, I just haven't decided in what scale?

 

The beauty of these card models is, it doesn't matter much what scale I buy the original model in, it is really quite a simple process to change the scale using the good ol' photocopier.

 

Now, to the second photo showing a long line of 1/144th scale models, very much "under construction" and they are top to bottom:

 

Fairmile A class ML 103 (CFin P),

Vosper 72'6" MTB 234 (Pro-Model),

Fairmile B class ML 825, RAN (CFinP),

A small Motor Fishing Vessel (CFinP freebie),

Fairmile C class MGB 314 (CFinP),

The RAN 80' HDML 1321 (CFinP conversion),

US SC 648 (Paper Lab),

Vosper 70' MTB 76 (Pro-Model conversion),

WW1 US SC 131 -- made from diagrams,

WW1 RN ML 531 -- again made from diagrams,

BPB Co 63' MGB 43 (AH kit),

BPB Co 70' MGB 64 (AH conversion),

HMAS Alatna, RAN 62' Fast Supply Launch (CFinP conversion)      and

Elco 70' MGB 91 (conversion from a PT kit). 

 

I have lots more possibilities and conversions as well as doing other scales and I have experimented in 72nd and 35th scales. I can tell you a Fairmile B in 35th scale will look AWESOME, especially as I can get Bofors and 20mm Oerlikon guns in this scale.
