Ex Admiralty Pinnace

   We have just acquired 'Golden Haze' an ex admiralty Pinnace built around 1880/90. We believe that it was originally steam powered and converted to diesel, possibly around the time that the cabin was added c1930's.

It is 36' long (although there is some question about the measurements - the BSC states these and the sales blurb states slightly different ones - we hope to confirm the measurements this weekend). It is about 8' wide, 2' 6" draft and 5' 6" air draft.

We would welcome any information, we know that it has been on the Thames and then on the Norfolk Broads. We have just returned it to the Thames. It has a mention in the sale blurb, of being on Windermere, prior to being 'renovated' in Suffolk.

Hope someone can help us find more out about the boat. Where would we look for a number? If there was a serial number aboard, where would a likely place be to look?
