Hi there,

Interesting to see Hyperion away to the west country there on What's New, hope to a good home and to soldier on, "appears" a bit of an over hang for an old wooden boat...but hopefully the transport guys know what they are doing,

After a weekends "holiday" just outside Newbury, Hyperion arrived safely in her new home in Watchet today. All appears well and we are hoping to put the scrap metal thefts of the last few years behind us and continue the process of putting her back into service.
Watchet promises to be a great operating base and we hope to gain some excellent company very soon......watch this space!

In response to Johnk, she currently does not have her engines fitted so there is a lot less weight aft than usual otherwise that overhang would have been a bit worrying!

Hi Garethep,

Many thanks for the update there, ah so Watchet, in company then with Gay Archer! "excellent company"! sounds interesting, do please say as and when. Ah, yes minus engines explains then and quite right, an over hang at the stern not so critical then, again many thanks,

Hi again,

Ah! just seen on What's New there....MASB 27! indeed, quite a fleet building up there, clearly the place to be for some of our coastal craft! must get along soon, perhaps a detour from Bristol post/pre visit to Medway Queen paddler, albeit soon, well early next year, will be back on the Medway....many thanks,

Me again,

Last time, albeit pictures did not come up under What's New on my machine here, great pics under RN-CVFA site link of the lift of MASB 27, looks like great weather!, also post there on trials of MGB 81, looking good, says repairs to P brackets, was that to the hull around them? and new props, not cheap I know but very good to see underway of course....
