   further to the above, the L/H gearbox found for MTB 506 came from a man who dealt in Gardner spares, he dealt with people in Malta (where the engines are) and had very good shipping rates. Unfortunately I do not have his details, I think his name was Tony but Sentley Wilson dealt with him after my initial contact. perhaps someone else involved with '506 may remember?

	Hi there, Great news re the engines, and close to my neck of the woods! can't offer anything in the way of tips, but will ask around here to see if any one knows anything of help. So glad the work on the hull is going forward, any chance of some pics when you have a moment? of course understand you have much to do. 	Hi everyone, Myself and two friends from the Medway Queen Preservation Society visited the Hythe yard yesterday and met with Alan Watson and Mike Boyce who as ever were very hospitable and generous with thier time. Saw the great work done since the fire and how the team are recovering from that terrible day. The work on Medusa's hull is a wonder to see, she is going to be magnificient once again. If there is any one out there who can offer any sort of assitance to the trust, do get in touch with Alan via the web-site, link on the link page of the BMPT site, I am sure they would welcome all and any support. As ever, if you want to visit, do as we did and get in touch FIRST with Alan, as I said, they are a welcoming bunch but visitors are a distraction from thier work, so do give them notice so it is expected and convienient to them. Much was lost, although they have recovered some items from the ashes, as you know the workshops were destroyed. Not as ever forgetting MTB 102, looking forward to the new season with her of course, not fortunatley in the same position as Medusa, but as ever any support for them appreciated, link to their web-site as with Medusa. 	Its a while since I posted anything but work proceeds steadily on Medusa. The inner hull planking is now complete and the outer going on. The bridge is being rebuilt for the second time; ironically the original survived but the new on was lost. The engine work is in progress; the 1L2 aux engine was beyond repair and has been replaced. One of the main engines survived pretty well but the other was found to have some bad cracks in the castings and has needed extensive replacement bits. We had a few other objectives during the project, one was to revamp our website and include our acrchive of information on all the HDMLs. This has just beed completed and uploaded on www.hmsmedusa.org.uk ....its worth a look there is a lot of information there

	Hi Alan, Great to hear from you on the forum,glad to hear the engines are coming along, have had a look at the new web-site, really looks great, I am sure we are all waiting with baited breath to see her back on the water again, what a site!, Chatham awaits, (along with loads of other places I am sure!) 	Hello Alan from OZ, Thanks for the link to the new (for me) Medusa website. I have known about her for some time, but wasn't aware of the 'new' website until now. The lost and found section is of particular interest to me as we have TWO that I know of out 'ere in the colonies. MLs 1183 (ex RNZN) and 1321 (ex RAN 80 footer) are in Melbourne and the Northern Territory respectively. I'm about to e-mail the website to update the info. Cheers and thanks again,
