Looking for a patternmaker

   Hello everyone from Oz,

Looking for a Patternmaker.
I’m looking for someone to help me make masters for 1/144^th scale ‘little ships’, in particular initially a Fairmile B class ML (Motor Launch) patrol boat from WW2. This will (I’m quietly optimistic) lead to other craft such as MGBs, MTBs, PTs plus quite a number of others.
I would be prefer someone Melbourne or Central Victoria based to make visiting easy, but if need be I’m happy to work with anyone from interstate or overseas. He (or she) would need to have a good interest in the subjects and scratchbuilding skills in helping to create accurate models and fairly importantly have the time available.
I have numerous fittings, weapons etc already done or in progress, so it’s only basically the hull and any deck structures that need doing.
My caster suggests a hollow hull (initially these boats will be waterline, but I guess full hull is possible) to save resin (cost) and weight (again cost of postage of the finished model), a separate deck and the charthouse/bridge/coachroof areas perhaps separate pieces. This last item to be worked out with my caster.

	Hello to all, The resin Fairmile B in 1/144th scale is now available, either made-up to any particular ship or as a kit with appropriate parts to build whichever 'B' interests you. We are now contemplating what to do next and I'm guessing a 1940-42 version Vosper MTB or the Elco 80' PT boat. I am open to other suggestions so if anyone out there is interested in coastal forces (Allied only) models then please let me know.
