Sad to report that John Lambert crossed the bar yesterday after a long illness. John, well known for his published articles and technical drawings, will be remembered for his thorough research and skilful work, especially on matters concerning Coastal Forces. The co-authored and published 'Allied Coastal Forces of World War 2' Volumes 1 and 2, are now recognised as being the virtual Bibles on the 'Little Ships of WW2' and renowned worldwide.
You will be sadly missed John - Rest In Peace.

Hi there,
Indeed, as per first posted on RN-CFV indeed his work on the two volumes of history are indeed the go to reference, a great legacy.

Hi there,
As above now on ""what's new" news tab, a great loss, of course first and foremost to his family as mentioned, secondly to the CF world, but as said, thanks to his work so many of our CF vessels are as they should be, many thanks,
Johnk
