Good evening,
I was hoping that someone might know what type of boat this Is that I am currently restoring. It Is a 19ft twin cockpit (fore and aft) mahogany diagonal planked boat powered by a Bedford QL 28hp 6 cylinder engine with Parsons gearbox.Steering Os on the port side. Some parts are date stamped 1942 but as of yet I have not managed to find the manufacturer. The hull colour was very similar to 102 and have looked in the Raf section. The trailer Is a converted ordnance type of the same era.It looks very similer to "Panther" which is a British Power Boat Company design. The engine cover has an air scoop which I have not seen on any boats bar the British Power Boat Company. I know the boat was originally called Mammele and was licensed In Great Yarmouth/Port Haven In 1960. I've almost finished the restoration but still don't know the manufacturer so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thank you. I've tried uploading pictures to the forum but It won't accept. Happy to send to relevant parties . Thank you for your help. Kind regards, Greg Spurgeon
