Have just started a scratch build of this Vosper design, could anybody help me in locating photographs of this vessel as the plans are very ambiguous. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Keith

Hello Kieth

As you will know Vosper 103 was a 'stepped hull' design that completed as CT 05. You will find a photograph and several plan views in 'Allied Coastal Forces of World War 2' Volumn 2 by Al Ross and John Lambert. Page 58 will show the craft being side launched.

Best of luck with the model - let us know how you get on

Regards

I too have this model and as a bonus my father served on it, or something similar in ww2, laying mines in enemy harbours and fending off stuka's!

In anycase, the model plans are very very bad and not even enough pieces.

For painting - the color scheme on the airfix box is not grossly inaccurate but they did get the uniforms wrong. They got the uniforms wrong.

Hope this helps,

Adam

Hi Pioneer

I've feeling Keith is on about the post war export 103ft boats like Sri Kedah.
