It has been confirmed that 'Ferocity' was indeed commissioned into the RN for a very brief period in June 1967 (for just 2 weeks) as 'Tender' to HMS Brave Swordsman.

It would be interesting to hear from any crew member who could remember why it was on such a short commission.

The Ferocity page in 'Boat Histories' has been updated to reflect this latest information - source Geoffrey Hudson via Les Brown.
