I've kept it quiet untill now because I had boats lined up, for two very different reasons they've no longer been for sale, I am on the lookout for an HDML, any leads gratefully receieved, I know of Gibel Tarik, unfortunatley out of my budget, TSR and Pride of the Dart, I'm ultimatley after something with original engines, even if that means re-intalling them, they're half of the interest for me. Suggestions anyone. Bare hull does not scare me, nothing really bad though!

P.S Before anyone suggests Lewina, she was my second boat, now sadly burned so no longer even an option!

Just a quick list (according to the medusa website) of one's in the UK:

ML1085, Etive Shearwater------Taken out of service a couple of year back as a scottish island ferry, now a houseboat, whereabouts?

1224 Anna B _location unrecorded on medusa site, may not be in the UK?

1257 Marcia-Sold last year for between £12 and £20,000 and I presume still in Hartlepool, still with engines but unknown, unoriginal superstructure but then they all are! http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=54.6899&lon=-1.200531&z=18.8&r=0&src=ggl - http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=54.6899&lon=-1.200531& ; ; ; ; ;z=18.8&r=0&src=ggl

ML 1379 Abri-Houseboat on the Medway? What's she like, abandoned and rotting or someone's well loved home?

ML1392 Sarinda- Converted to a yacht, not to my tastes particularly

ML1396 Pride of the Dart-Hit rocks of dartmouth now a stripped hull near Dartmouth http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=50.393872&lon=-3.578421&z=17.7&r=0&src=msa - Flash earth link

ML1422 T.S.R Currently sat on the bottom at birkenhead http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=53.405186&lon=-3.030546&z=19.3&r=0&src=ggl - http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=53.405186&lon=-3.030546&a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;z=19.3&r=0&src=ggl , though this seems to be common in Birkenhead!!! http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=53.401657&lon=-3.022851&z=19.5&r=0&src=ggl - http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=53.401657&lon=-3.022851&a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;a mp;z=19.5&r=0&src=ggl

Anyone know anything about any of them?

(medusa site??????)

Just googled for you....

Mentions Shearwater with a couple of pictures http://www.road-to-the-isles.org.uk/westword/april2002.html - Scottish Isles local newsletter
Unfortunately, doesn't say what happened after 2002...

Sarinda is listed on the National Register of Historic Vessels http://www.nhsc.org.uk/index.cfm/event/getVessel/vref/1135 - Sarinda

Pride of the Dart, same place again http://www.nhsc.org.uk/index.cfm/event/getVessel/vref/297 - Pride of the Dart Sounds like she was involved in an accident in 2002 http://www.irishseashipping.com/archives/news/2002/072002/072002.htm - Manx News report scroll to the bottom of the page- has a photo of the boat. Searching for the boat also gives links to the Coastguard Agency (?) report on the accident

Sorry, I can't find anything on the other boats- maybe they have been renamed as searching for the boat name Abri brought up a more modern boat in the UK.

the tsr has been promised to me..if your intrested shes yours..however the score is that it will be a lift onto the truck to shift her same day.no leaving in harbour..she is free(as is the lift) but you pay for transport. so you take her and take your chanses.2 to 3 k for transport.

quite probibly, i am unable to move her while here in malta and it looks like time has run out..poor old girl is quite bad, and in the way..but still in an ideal world i would have had the time to do everything at once!!she will probibly be gone by the time i get back.

But that is life.i simply was not quick enouth.
