Hi folks,
I wonder if anyone can help in my search for a picture of the badge for Brave Borderer?  I have a B&W version cropped from a pikky of a post card.
I'm hoping to be able to make up a display board for my soon to be completed 1:35 scale RC model and the ships badge would be a nice finishing touch provided I can get it in colour.  None of the specialist badge companies list any of the Brave class boats.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Iain

Hi Iain, I have had the ships badge made  for me by the Gold Wire badge Company. [a UK] company that makes all types of military badges etc . The badge that they made is for HMS Brave Swordsman. The Badge is a modern version of the WW2 coastal Forces  which has a picture of a flying fish with a scorpions sting merged in its tail. Although the badge has Brave Swordsman as the ships name, I am sure that the same badge with Borderer's name on it would be the correct badge that Coastal Forces Used. I was able to confirm that the badge I obtained for Swordsman is correct as I have a RN trainingVideo/DVD of Brave Swordsman and in one part of the DVD the ships badge was displayed on the forward part of the bridge, just below the windscreen. The badge that was made for me was a blaser pocket type. Trust this info helps.
