Just seen small article in All at Sea paper, distributed around marinas and the like, on the P520 American rescue boat, just finished restoration after 10 years and a million dollars, very interesting web-site http://www.p-520crashboat.com - www.p-520crashboat.com well worth a look.

Just reading some old posts while got a couple of spare days(not just for surfing but without the van still cant start 145Cry).
Unfortunately John... the yanks are no longer overpaid & over hereDisapprove. If they were we could talk their confederate airforce into shipping home some of the ASR craft that pulled so many of thier boys from the channel & north sea. Would be nice if they could take a few rotten houseboats & end up with a whaleback running merlins again ect.
I'll be happy to end this year with a floating whaleback so only limited help, Although if someone else has a worthy last chance project then sure i could find a week in the mud to help out.
  Anything happened with the dogboat?

A boat is a hole in the water surrounded by wood, into which one throws money

Nothing further on the D I am afraid, bit caught up with other craft! still there in the mud. Not forgotten quite but not much I can do at the moment, good to hear from you,
