Hi guys -Sorry I noticed that would be the second Whaleback related topic in this forum in less than 2 days but here is what brings me. Thanks to this excellent forum, a few other ones and the help of some friends I was able to collect quite a few documents concerning the Whaleback RAF Rescue launch -pre 1942 version. But unfortunately I couldn't find exactly what I needed.
I indeed try to build a section of the Whaleback in 1/35 for a diorama, which would show most parts above the deck: cabin, the front turret, aerial etc. And I just can't find any precise picture reference on these special parts. I have been buying Mr Pritchard plans at Myhobbyshop.com and they are currently in the post from England, but if anybody had any detail pictures (either from the real thing or a well detailed model of these particular parts, well, i would be most grateful.
more precisely, I search: -anything about the pilot's top hatch (how are the hinges, how 's the real shape etc), same thing for the window in front of that hatch. -anything about the base of the aerial and of the various "accessories" situated roughly between the beginning of the pilot's house and the sickbay.
well, if anyone could help this would be great, but thanks for looking anyhow JB

Thanks gsnmeyer, I will check at that place -great picture thank you! perfect to figure out the real thickness of the "railings" around the turret. i thought it would be easier to model the turrets from an Avro Anson plan, but those seem to be even more rare?!
