can any body help.... i have located my old boat 2751...... i was the last wireless opp.... i am now searching for 2769 which replaced 2751.. at limassol cyprus, in 1960. any info please. whizzkid575. ------------- whizz kid |

Hi there,
Not the same I know but just seen 2748 at Plymouth on the Coast TV show, afloat on a pontoon mid river, the water line hull appears restored and work to the top sides, had a veteran of ASR on board and talked about Laurence of Arabias work with the RAF marine branch pre war, shots of 206 and HSL 102.

Hi Barnacle, just had a mooch at the site. fantastic pics of most and lovely pic of 145 at anchor. Any of the 70ft cpc hsl's left? Spitfires aside the whalebacks are the only war machine(lets not forget what they were built for) that can be classed as a thing of beauty! ------------- A boat is a hole in the water surrounded by wood, into which one throws money |
