Regular readers and contributors will have noticed a revamped feel to the website with the Forum now displaying details, especially regarding Postings in the Forum, in quite a unique and novel way.

So… Welcome!.. to the ‘new-look’ BMPT Forum.

The costs involved with the hosting and maintenance of the website have been the subject of many discussions ‘off line’ and much worry by the owner, Richard Hellyer. However, the good news now is that the website has a secure future; the continued support of its many well wishers, plus a new sponsor, the IBTC Lowestoft - http://www.ibtc.co.uk/" rel="nofollow - International Boatbuilding Training College , have turned around what was a very uncertain and bleak view of the future of this website.

Hi there,

Many thanks for this, indeed noticed the time line now displayed, and so glad to hear as I am sure fellow members that the site is now secure, can I offer my thanks to all involved for what I know will be a lot of hard work behind the scenes,

Johnk

We are pleased to have recovered the two websites at www.bmpt.org.uk and www.bmpt.co.uk from the brink of extinction - many thanks to http://www.ibtc.co.uk/" rel="nofollow - IBTC for their timely assistance.

We were plagued with spammers, mainly from China, and had to close the Forum for a while. We have now put in place tight security that should see most of them off.

So for the time being it is business as usual!
