Had these two very interesting pictures from John Cook. He has his own web site which can be found here www.coastalmotorboat.org.uk

John would appreciate any help or information that anyone can give with the continuing preservation of this quite unique craft

You don't own a boat, a boat owns you.

Hi there,

Sure John and his team appreciate the exposure on the forum and site, myself and good friend John of Rhine River patrol boat Velo 2 met with John at Sandwhich and hope to be able to offer help with the vessel, more so John as a marine engineer and fitter, and for me hope to welcome her to Chatham next year, heard that RASC Amiens berthed just up river was about last weekend during the historic dockyards salute to the 40's event, tend to forget her, now what a good show that would be.......Did have of course MTB 102 in on a paid job of filming which was great to see, if I may say, a salute to you guys for keeping up with these vessels.
